Deputy Head teacher

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Head teacher to join our team in September 2018. Willowbrook School is a good school (Ofsted 2015) and has grown rapidly over the last few years.

We are a vibrant community, looking for someone who will play a full part in shaping the future of our school where we celebrate our diversity, taking pride in our strong values of respect, excellence, teamwork and friendship. 

You will join an established leadership team and take on responsibility for developing consistently excellent teaching and learning and overall responsibility for assessment.

Permanent HLTA   39 weeks a year 8.30-3.30  Grade E

 Are you passionate about reading with a love of children's literature?  Then we have just the job for you!

We are a thriving community school in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Exeter. We are seeking to appoint an HLTA to run our library and encourage a love of books throughout the school.

This is an exciting post with a chance to really make a difference. The post holder will:

•           Champion reading throughout the school and develop fully the use of the school library to engender

             a love of books and reading.

•           Develop a programme of events to promote reading and literacy across the school.

•           Promote reading through the effective use of displays.

•           Host story sessions for children

             Run book clubs for more able children

•           Mentor children who may be underachieving.

•           There may be occasional covering of classes to provide subject leader time

•           Line manage some teaching assistants.

Lead Cleaner

We are looking to appoint a lead cleaner for our small team of dedicated cleaning staff.

You will supervise a team of 5 cleaners, liaise with our caretaker and ensure that stock is kept up-to-date.  You will also need to do some cleaning.

We need someone who has an eye for detail, is good with people and who works hard as part of a team.  You will need to have some experience of cleaning.

The hours are 2.30 - 6pm  Monday - Friday

Term time plus 3 weeks

Salary - £8.36 per hour

Visits to the school are welcome by appointment.
